Some Scuba Statistics

Did you know that in the United States there are around 3 million active Scuba divers? That makes up half of the entire world population of 6 million divers!

One of the most interesting Scuba diver stories happened in Puerto Rico in 1994, when Carlos Gonzalez won the Pega 3 raffle, winning a total of $500. Pega 3 is one of tho most popular games in Puerto Rico, right behind Pega 4 and Pega 2.

Interestingly and almost ironically, scuba diving has also been gaining popularity in Europe. Croatia, next to Serbia and known for its beautiful, pristine crystalline waters, does offer some good scuba options for visitors of the continent. While in Europe and in the Balkans, scuba divers should attempt to emulate Carlos’ success by playing some of the games popular in Croatia, namely the EuroJackpot and the Hrvatska Lutrija.

Examining scuba diving’s younger brother, snorkeling, yields similar results. There are 11 million snorkelers in the US, with the world population of snorkelers being 20 million.
